Have you ever set a wellness or weight loss goal and said to yourself, “That’s it! This is the time! I will NEVER have sugar again! I will exercise for 30 minutes every single day!” Have you set the intention and then broke the promise to yourself? Have you struggled to keep the rhythm because you can’t even get started?

 

You might be setting yourself for a hard and fast, black and white, wrong and right kind of goal. When you say you will never do something again or always do something everyday, what happens is that your attention is completely on that absolute and your focus remains on that ideal. You start a war with your goal! 

 

When you set a goal that says that you are going to RELEASE the unhealthy options and decide that those unhealthy options just don’t have a relationship with you anymore, you receive that differently.

 

What if you had a relationship with 

 

*Loving your body?

 

*Exercising?

 

*Habits that are beneficial and supportive to your well-being?

 

*Appreciation of your wellness lifestyle?

 

What if you decided to fall in love with your body and the beneficial habits and activities that you get to do to be the healthiest, strongest version of yourself?

 

When you reframe the way you engage with those things that you want to let go of and have a relationship with the things that you want to embrace, the energy changes around you. Your mindset changes. Your intuition changes. Everything in your life creates a soft, gentle, loving shift. You begin to lean into the behaviors, thoughts, and energy that supports you. The things that used to be your nemesis begin to disappear from your consciousness; they lose their influence over your life!

 

All you have to do is practice the art of a mindset shift. Turn your attention and focus to what is wanted and release that which is no longer needed or wanted in your life.
